We look forward to the gourmet breakfasts - always a delectable and unique way to start and fuel our day; we usually don't eat again until dinner! At breakfast we can count on hearing and sharing stories of local sites of interest, places visited, places to shop, and dining experiences from fellow lodgers. There is always plenty of lively conversation, laughs, and meeting new friends from far and wide.
The Inn itself is charming, rustic, cozy, and comfortable - a retreat from the world. It is situated in a quiet and pastoral setting - a short-distance drive to the quaint village of Rhinebeck, with its many shops and eating establishments. It is a delightful throwback to colonial times but with modern conveniences. Our room - the Spirited Dove - was comfortable and private, with a spacious en suite bathroom.
Great B&B! Very comfortable stay especially wonderful shower & bed! Breakfast was sensational-beats any of our other B&B stops. Inn owner was very friendly and informative. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back!
This was our third visit - this time to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Each time we arrive it's like visiting with family rather than checking into a hotel.
Our hosts, Jonna and Cindy were so lovely and welcoming. Each room had its own flavor and the breakfasts were fabulous! I felt like I was staying with friends. We were only 3 miles from town which made it very easy to travel back and forth. There were some lovely people staying there and one couple that we enjoyed being with shared wine and cheese on the lovely patio facing the tranquil pond.
We enjoyed sharing conversation and a bottle of wine with another couple on the patio overlooking the pond. In the cold weather conversations, reading, refreshments can be enjoyed in front of a roaring fireplace.
A beautiful place! This is a wonderfully charming historic cottage, well furnished with period antiques, surrounded with lovely landscaping. The hosts are friendly and have thought of everything, including delicious breakfasts. Strongly recommended!
I lodged at the Olde Rhinebeck Inn while presenting and attending a local conference. Staying at the Inn was one of the best decisions (and gifts!) I have made or given myself. What a lovely B&B. I stayed in the Deer Hill Suite (first floor) which had a screened porch that faced the property. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept upon, beautiful room, lovely (and delicious) welcome plate that included sweets and fruits, coffee at the ready in the morning and homemade iced tea or lemonade in the afternoon. The breakfasts that Cindy (innkeeper) and Jonna (owner) made were deliciously prepared with locally grown and sourced ingredients, some right from their garden and chickens. I can't say enough about the Olde Rhinebeck Inn. Perfect in every way. I will be returning...hopefully soon!
If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, something with character and coziness, this is the place you have been looking for!
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this charming Inn in Rhinebeck. We absolutely loved staying here.
Cannot say enough about the warm and friendly Keepers of the Inn, Jonna and Cindy. They are passionate about treating you as more than just guests - making your stay more friendly and homier than a hotel. Long-time residents of the area, Jonna and Cindy are a treasure trove of wonderful ideas and suggestions things to do. If you need a recommendation on dining in the area, they are ready with plenty of ideas based on cuisine. They will even call and make dining reservations for you if desired.
We're looking forward to going back!
